ITACA FDSNWS Event Web-Service

The ITACA FDSNWS Event Web-Service provides machine-friendly access event-related metadata included in the ITACA Database.

Events may be filtered e.g. by hypocenter, time and magnitude parameters. A complete list of supported options and usage examples is available in the query-options webpage. Please refer to FDSN Web Service Specifications Version 1.1 for a complete service description.

Feature Notes

• catalog parameter is mapped to the agencyID
• results are limited to 1000 events per single request
• in addition to standard FDSN formats (xml and text), this service also supports ESRI shapefile output
